| My latest projects in the studio have been great fun! I have been recording tunes which will be placed on a Romantic Dance Album. The instrumental songs are all original tunes and feature the mandolin as the lead instrument. There are currently two tangos, two waltzes, and a rumba recorded and finished. I plan to put another 7 songs on the album and release it in the summer of 2009. You may listen to one of the songs here. It is a tango so grab someone you like and dance around in romantic fashion. Remember to stop and strike a couple's pose every now and then for the camera. ;-) Even more exciting is the news that I have been working with Lydia Patritto again! We have recorded a song which will be featured on a promo DVD for the Cole's Foundation. The foundation was set up to help families facing pediatric cancer after the Ruotsala family faced that battle with their son Cole. For more info or to see how you may help go here. Lydia Patritto has finished the album Grand Dreams here and we were both proud and excited to work with this amazing young lady. She has also recorded a couple of demos here that have travelled to Nashville with her. She has amazing talent and can be heard here. |
