Studio Notes
Over the course of five days and four cases of beer this was recorded a track at a time with Dave
Morehouse playing the lionshare of the instruments and Mick Zengel singing nearly all of the vocals.
Arrangements were done in the true Irish tradition of playing what we thought sounded good at the time.
Clare to Here was a particularly intriguing traditional song with which we had a lot of fun. We felt honored to
have the arrangement 'stolen' by an Irish group last winter. One of these days we are going to stock up on
beverages and waltz into the studio for another round of this stuff. Out of countless hours in studio
settings these were a few of our favorites!
A Celtic Collection is an enchanting tapestry
reviving the authentic style of Traditional Celtic
music. Comprised mainly of old Irish Immigrant
Ballads. Mick's passionate tones define the very
soul of these truly magical Celtic lands. His
music is the water of life and the whiskey of
passion! It denotes all our joy and all our
sadness, it is music to live for and to die for!
